The CTS radar, KTS radar, and ClearWay EPU.
Our radar are certified for use in Europe, Australia and the US. We operate to ISO standards and rigorously test every radar at our production facility before its release.
At Navtech, we offer system design options to meet our customer’s infrastructure and security requirements.
Utilise the existing fibre network where it’s available, or choose ClearWay Cloud with 4G where it isn’t, or it is limited, saving costly associated infrastructure work. ClearWay Cloud and 4G mean there’s no need to install physical servers, and operators can manage all road and tunnel schemes from one login. Alternatively, we can deliver our standard ClearWay On-Prem solution if there is a requirement for a closed network.
The CTS and KTS are Navtech’s ITS radar. Each is designed to operate in different a frequency band while delivering the same level of performance. Our 360° radar rotate at 4Hz, collecting 1,140,000 data points per rotation, and cover the entire roadway.
The CTS radar is principally used for ITS projects in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

When you are considering using an ITS technology for your project, you need to know it will deliver on its specified performance and understand how it works.
In a recent upgrade to our ClearWay radar, we swapped out the existing motor for a direct drive motor. It means no servicing is required for its 10-year design life.

The KTS radar is designed to meet US frequency requirements and is FCC certified

The KTS350-X has a whole new radar design so it can operate in the Ka band frequency range and meet the same high performance of our 77GHz market proven CTS radar.
