ClearWay is Navtech Radar’s radar-based incident detection and traffic data solution that operates in all weather and lighting conditions, including in complete darkness, snow and fog. A networked system of 360° scanning radar detect incidents in seconds across the entire highway or tunnel. Powerful software raises incident alerts and keeps unwanted alarms to a minimum maintaining operator trust.

The CTS and KTS are Navtech’s ITS radar. Our 360° radar rotate at 4Hz, collecting 1,140,000 data points per rotation, and cover the entire roadway.

What does a Navtech ITS demo involve?

When you are considering using an ITS technology for your project, you need to know it will deliver on its specified performance and understand how it works.

Direct drive upgrade

In a recent upgrade to our ClearWay radar, we swapped out the existing motor for a direct drive motor. It means no servicing is required for its 10-year design life.
