Problems We Solve Markets Radar Solutions Projects Why Navtech? Innovation Lab Support

Navtech has sponsored the SSAFA Armed Force charity bike ride.

Navtech Radar is proud to announce their support of the SSAFA Armed Forced charity through their sponsorship of Peter French on his charity bike ride. The funds raised by the charity event will go to the SSAFA which helps ex-servicemen and their families in Devon.

Peter rode 240 miles over 3 days along the Western Front through Belgium and France. He commenced his journey on Wednesday the 30th August and finished at the Tyne Cot memorial on Saturday 3rd of September.

During Peter’s route, he visited Arras and The Somme, witnessing some of the battlefields and sobering graveyards filled with British troops. The sacrifices made by British soldiers during the First World War and subsequent conflicts will always be remembered for their bravery and their actions.

Our soldiers risk their lives for their nation everyday and we are privileged to have had the opportunity to support Peter on his journey and help repay ex-servicemen for their valiant work. Peter and the rest of the bike riders have done something amazing, raising money (& awareness) for a great organisation. We all at Navtech completely support the work that the SSAFA do and hope that the money Peter and other raised will bring about positive change and provide greater opportunities to ex-servicemen in the future.

Congratulations Peter, well done to you and all the other riders who completed the bike ride!
