Navtech Radar and SightLogix Enhance Perimeter Security 

Navtech Radar has collaborated with SightLogix to deliver an enhanced perimeter security solution that integrates radar and thermal camera technology. The integration combines Navtech’s AdvanceGuard Security Solution with SightLogix’s SightSensor thermal cameras and SightTracker PTZ, creating a comprehensive system designed to detect, classify, and track intruders across large, complex outdoor sites. 

Navtech AdvanceGuard provides continuous wide-area surveillance inside and outside of the perimeter. Its high-definition radar and AI-enhanced software tracks unlimited targets on complex sites where legitimate and illegitimate activity occurs. Alerting only to threat situations and providing full situational awareness, 24/7/365, in all weather and light conditions.

This integration allows the SightTracker PTZ to automatically zoom, classify, and track intruders detected by either Navtech’s AdvanceGuard radar or SightLogix’s thermal cameras. SightLogix SightSensors provide reliable and complimentary intruder detection to AdvanceGuard system, and the SightTracker PTZ cameras give additional object tracking capabilities, while, delivering detailed, zoomed-in views. This eliminates the latency and false tracking often found in other PTZ systems, ensuring highly dependable “eyes-on until hands-on” security.

One of the primary benefits of the integration is automated tracking, which follows intruders in real time once detected. Radar combined with thermal imaging removes the need for manual camera control, allowing operators to focus on critical response actions. 

The integrated system also improves accuracy and reduces false alarms where intelligent threat classification alerts of genuine threats before incidents escalate, offering robust and scalable perimeter protection.
