The position - US regional manager

Navtech Radar are looking for an experienced Regional Manager to drive our emerging US Business Development and in-country support activities. The US Regional Manager will be responsible for driving growth in the region to achieve our organizational goals. With ambitious growth plans and huge market potential, Navtech Radar seek to advance safety and improve journeys through the adoption of ITS (Intelligent Transport System) solutions.

The US Regional Manager will be an ITS expert capable of driving growth by developing technical and operational relationships with customers. You don’t need to be a radar expert; we’ll help you with that! You will be someone with a proven track record in building customer relationships and influencing the market, ready to take the next step in their career to drive the adoption of the Navtech Radar solution.

Note: We’re looking for someone in-market (ideally MD, VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, FL, TX based, although others will be considered).

Key accountabilities
  • Development and execution of the regional strategy & business plan.
  • Set and execute strategic business objectives to achieve company growth targets on an annual and quarterly basis and ensure progress is mapped and measured against those objectives.
  • Recruit and lead a team including Business Development, Project/Customer Support & Marketing.
  • Build an opportunity pipeline driving these to fruition, drawing on the relevant areas of the business to ensure success.
  • Recommend, budget and plan for events, conferences, and webinars with the aim of sharing knowledge and generating demand.
  • Identify, recruit and nurture a network of channel partners, consultants, end-customers and integrators.
  • Network across industry bodies and highway authorities with the aim of influencing requirements and usage.
  • Provide customer and market knowledge to support the building of requirements for new solutions
  • Solution Adoption: driving adoption of the Navtech solution into targeted areas.
  • Achieving business goals and revenue targets.
  • Ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards, providing voice-of-market insight to drive new product development and enhancements.

Requirements:

We require a customer centric sales or business development professional with 10+ years’ experience of technical business-to-business sales, working with customers at multiple levels.

  • Proven management and leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience influencing and defining customer specifications.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level.
  • Deep knowledge of Traffic Management or Intelligent Traffic Industries.
Salary

Salary will be dependent on candidate and skills.
