The Position - Software Software Developer (in South Oxfordshire)
We are looking for a talented software developer, ideally with some experience of leading a team, or with the ambition to step up into a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities. They will be joining a rapidly expanding R&D team within a dynamic, high-tech, and forward-thinking organisation.
The role will involve taking on responsibility for the support and continual development of our commercial applications. The goal is to take our world class solutions to an unmatched level of sophistication, security, and flexibility.

Our work headquarters
Navtech Radar is based in the picturesque village of Ardington just outside Wantage, Oxfordshire. The office is very close to Didcot which has excellent train links to London. The location is easily commutable from Oxford, Swindon and Newbury.
The office is a modern farm conversion and offers excellent facilities in a beautiful environment with plenty of space, including ample free parking.

- Developing all aspects of the company software products, including, but not limited to, device firmware, the commercial applications, and the internal production tools.
- Adopting and integrating new technologies and languages as appropriate.
- Contributing to the software and system architecture.
- Managing the day-to-day development tasks and progress of a small team of developers.
- Driving improvement across all the software projects, in coding, best practice and processes.

Knowledge and experience
- Appropriate technical degree or higher with a solid maths background.
- Strong track record of application software development which must include .NET experience and some C++.
- Experience with any hardware-software integration work will be a significant advantage, but we are happy to consider suitable candidates with a keen interest to work in this field.
Salary will be competitive based on this type of role within the Thames Valley and we offer a bonus scheme, pension contributions, and a holiday loyalty scheme.
