Project Manager

The position 

Navtech Radar is looking for a talented and experienced Project Manager to support the company through ongoing growth.

In this role you will be working closely with the engineering team, analysing, planning and developing standards for scheduled projects

Our work headquarters 

Our offices are nestled in the picturesque village of Ardington, South Oxfordshire, within an easy commute from areas of Reading, Swindon, Newbury and Oxford.
The role will be based at our offices in Ardington. We offer hybrid working and in this role you should expect some travel.

Key accountabilities
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of engineering and technical personnel while ensuring the team are actively working towards shared established milestones.
  • Hold regular engineering/technical team meetings to determine progress, and address any questions or challenges regarding the projects.
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Update and maintain technical project methodologies to deliver high quality installation, commissioning and system optimisation outcomes.
Key competencies: 
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability for decision making and supervising team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Project management processes, strategies and methods.
  • Mentor, coach and develop rising talent in engineering field.
Knowledge, skills and experience: 
  • Degree in project management or related technical field (computer Science/Mech or Elec Eng).
  • Professional Project management certification from accredited institution preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem solving skills.

Security clearance (PD roles)

This role will require the successful candidate to undertake a pre-employment background screening check (either Basic DBS or BPSS).


Salary will be competitive based on this type of role within the Thames Valley.
