Production Administrator

The position - Production Administrator (in South Oxfordshire)

Navtech Radar is looking for an enthusiastic and well organised administrator to support the Production team.  This new role within the company will provide the administrative duties required to support the smooth running of our production Team.

The role will be reporting to the Production Co-ordinator.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creation of jobs on our ERP/MRP business system
  • Picking of parts from stock for production
  • Issuing of parts to jobs to ensure stock accuracy
  • Printing and preparation of paperwork to accompany jobs in production as they are completed
  • Completion of jobs and booking in of sub-assemblies and finished goods into stock once finished
  • Filing of completed paperwork
  • Maintaining the serialisation of sub-assemblies and finished goods, matching components of the correct serial number to each job to ensure traceability of parts

Your competencies:

  • Strong IT literacy with experience of working with business ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong communicator and able to work effectively in a team
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Customer centric mindset
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 15kg independently

Your knowledge and experience

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with the following experience:

  • 2+ years in a production admin, or similar role, in a production environment.
